They don't know how to update tracking information.
Been at my new address for 5 months I receive mail and packages daily (no exaggeration). Now according to "Tony" at this office, the carrier for my area made a "mistake" and forwarded my package to an unknown address from a previous tenant. This was a very time sensitive item I was supposed to receive today. Now I'm being told it will be "at least two days" before the package gets here (they can't even say when exactly). No accountability for the USPS though. They made a mistake. They know it and admitted to it. They don't even offer to make up for it. They don't care obviously. Shouldn't they at least try to expedite the package because they made a pretty big mistake? Well they've done nothing. I will pay extra from now on to avoid the USPS. I'll get faster service, and much better customer service.
The few times we've been there, the staff has been very friendly and helpful. What kills us is their hours. Some of us have jobs.
Have called twice for mail which has not been forwarded. Both times a phone system tells me I have a one hour wait to talk to a human! The IRS & Social security offices combined wait times are better than this!!!
This is a Post Office with it's patrons in mind. The only drawback I experienced is there are no stamp or postage machines for after hours needs.
